A couple of weeks ago, David’s class was in charge of chapel at the Silk Road Academy where the kids attend. They opened up chapel leading us in song. We sang “Big House” and then a round called “Oh Be Joyful”. Next each student in David’s class took a group of students from the other grades and teachers. Each group was assigned a charade they were to act out. Props were allowed. After some time preparing, the groups acted out their charade and the rest of us guessed what the story was. David’s group acted out the story where Moses parted the Red Sea. Winter was enlisted in another group which acted out the story of Babel. They ended the time in prayer. David enjoyed helping his class prepare for chapel. His favorite part was leading his group in their charade.
Sounds great! Good job, David!
