First Year Anniversary

David reminded me today that we have been in Kabul exactly one year.  One year can you believe it?   We have had some firsts-some big and others small.  Noel getting to fly a King Air airplane as first officer.  Winter taking a ballet/dance class.  Teresa being able to light her oven and the sawdust bukhari by herself.   David riding a ripstick.  We have seen God work in our lives and the lives around us.  Our prayer life has deepened as we have prayed for this land and the people who live here.  Our faith has grown as we have seen God provide just what was needed at just the right time.  There was sadness in loss of life for the team in Nuristan and joy for the new babies that joined our team.  One of our favorite foods is now Qabli.   It is not quite so scary communicating in a new language but still much to learn and even though we miss our friends and family in the states, we feel at home here.    We thank you for your prayers this year.  We ask that you continue to pray that we will stay faithful to our calling and to press on with the tasks at hand.
