Flying at Coyote Lake

On Monday we flew to a normally dry lake bed, where we were to practice maximum braking aborts, airdrops, and low altitude manuevering (50ft from the ground).  It was a lot of fun.  However, when we got there, the lake had water in it from the overabundance of rain we’ve been having.   There was just a small island in the middle that was dry.  It was just the perfect length to do what we needed to do.  I am embedding a slide show of pictures into this post.  You can also Click Here and watch an HD video of our flying that day. FYI – the flying is very challenging, but fun.  I have grown as a pilot quite a lot in just a few weeks of flying – Noel
