Graduation and the End of School

On May 31st, we had graduation at Babur Gardens for the biggest class ISK has ever had.  It was an emotional time of endings and beginning and of memories and future plans.  This past week was the last week of school just as the weather is heating up here.  Winter had finals all week while David had last minute projects and parties.   Both Winter and David finished well and received a few awards at the awards ceremony yesterday.  Both are ready for the slower days of summer and hopefully for the projects their mom has for them.  I am ready for some time to refresh and regroup and work on my to do list. Here are a few pictures from our last few weeks.

One of my Calculus Students pretty proud of himself that He is graduating.

Stephanie who is pictured with me was also in my AP Calculus class.  She is heading to Massachusetts for college after living pretty much all her life in Afghanistan.   Their family will be missed here but are due for some extended time in the states.

We still have about 6 spots open at ISK for next year so if you know any teachers who might be interested let me know.  It has been a good year teaching wise but I am glad to have a break.  With God’s help, we were able to finish strong.  TJ
