We have been in the states for almost two months. It has been a busy but good time of visiting family, doing projects, and starting to settle. Our RV is set up and ready to live in. Our stuff is sorted and stored. Doctor, Dentist, and Eye Doctor appointments are over. We are slowly figuring out what the next few months will look like for us.
Around Labor day, we spent a week with Winter, Nathan, and David in California. It was a blessing to be together. The kids are doing well. Winter has started a new semester of interpreting at two different community colleges. Due to COVID, she has less hours but is able to do some part-time work to make up the difference. Nathan is working in sales for a security company. Both of them are enjoying a discipleship training course through their church and being involved in the activities there. In their free time, they like to play strategy games. David is in his junior year at California Baptist University. He is still enjoying his photography. This year he is a teaching assistant for a design class which has been both fun and challenging. In his free time, he can be found playing either volleyball or spike ball.
As I write this we are in Missouri visiting my roommate from college and her family. While I am hanging out with my roommate, Noel is getting to spend the weekend at a Cross Trail Outfitters event. Cross Trail Outfitters is a faith based organization that teaches boys outdoor skills such as hunting and fishing. You can learn more about the organization here. This week we will do a quick stop in Arkansas and then head to Texas where we will be until Thanksgiving.
On the job front, Noel will be starting a business analyst position with Mission Aviation Fellowship in December. Teresa will be working as a teacher and course developer with NorthStar Academy. It is an online Christian school. We are both excited about these opportunities and that we will be able to do them remotely.
We are so thankful for this season of getting to see family and friends. It has been a blessing to be a part of different churches both virtually and in person as we have been traveling. Here are a few pictures of our last few months.
