Now Noel has been the one taking most of the tests around here but not this week. Winter and David have been busy taking the Iowa Basic Skills test under their mom’s supervision. I am finding proctoring two much easier than my classroom of 30 last year. Their tests include English usage, punctuation, math computation and problem solving and many others. We are testing in the each morning Tuesday through Friday.
Why are they testing? It helps the schools the children will be attending have an idea where the children are academically. For me, it helps me see if we have any weak areas we need to be working on this next year. David is having fun since this is his first standardized test. To Winter, it is old hat after taking all the TAKS tests in Texas. Teresa
